to the Secretary of State's office. They will notify you via e-mail of your commission number and expiration date. Priority Service
clients typically experience a one (1) to two (2) business day turnaround.
Commissions are sent via first-class mail to your home address from the Secretary of
State's office. If you select the optional Notary Public Errors
& Omissions coverage, G. A. MacDonald Associates will issue the policy
from its offices and e-mail the policy via Adobe®
*.pdf file attachment. If no e-mail address is provided, the policy
will be sent via first-class mail.

To confirm the status of your notary public commission, visit the Notary
Public Indiana Database. Search by first and last name and your
county of residence and you can determine your commission expiration
date online before you receive it by mail. It may take
7-10 business days for Standard Service (1-2 business days for Priority
Service) for your commission to be issued.
